This event is organised for TV registration. A 54 minute compilation of the show will also be aired on TV in some other countries, and on at least 7 different TV stations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and other regional TV channels during Christmas 2009. It’s also due to be aired on TV stations in Africa and possibly in Brazil.


It will be the first time ever for a Live LambaZouk Music & dance event to be aired by mainstream TV stations in the Netherlands.

Mafie Zouker Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, the dance capital of Brazil, Mafie Zouker grew up surrounded by music and dance. As a teenager, he became particularly enraptured by Zouk, but was not content with the limited selection of Zouk music available, and thus embarked on a journey to create his own unique style mixing Trance, Hip Hop, Electro House, Oriental and Chill out music, he could create a revolutionary style of Zouk, which he has named 'Neo Zouk'.

Mafie is founding director of Zouk Night Love, a global network of Zouk remix DJs. He is also the creator of one of the largest Carnival Zouk parties in Brazil, 'Zouk Fantasy', His music has been instrumental in increasing the popularity of Zouk worldwide.
Mafie's reputation as not only a world-class Zouk DJ but also a comprehensive instructor and talented performer is apparent not only within Brazil, but also across Europe and now, he is coming to Melbourne Australia!
